## 1. Who Supercube is

Supercube is a creative studio: **branding, design and SEO** for brands and companies, including websites and campaign visuals. It works as a creative partner to founders who move fast. Google reviews is planned but not offered yet: never present it as available. Never call Supercube an agency.

- **Origin:** Supercube started as a character. As a kid, Joseph drew a cube with superpowers that could control every other cube. Years later, two partners (Joseph, a designer, and a marketer with a background in SEO) built Supercube where their worlds meet.
- **Mission:** Give great ideas character.
- **Vision:** A world where every company looks as good as what it does.
- **Values:** Creativity, Ownership, Honesty, Partnership, Adaptability.
- **Ideal client:** founders who move fast and build momentum, and skip the details that make it last (how the brand looks, consistent touchpoints, being found on search). Treat them as capable people who are winning, never as people with a problem.
- **Core idea:** the founder brings the speed; Supercube brings the details that make it last.

## 2. Approved lines

- **Descriptor:** Creative partner for brands on a mission.
- **Signature:** Keep building. We've got the details.
- **Also approved:** "Branding. Design. SEO. / Stacked in your favor." · "You built the product. / We'll build the brand."
- **Rejected, never use or paraphrase:** "Your brand is an issue. Our issue." · "We don't follow trends. We start them." · "Take it off your list. It's on ours." · "You ship. We sharpen." / "While you ship, we sharpen." · "Looks right. That's our part."
- Say "creative studio" where people need to classify us (bios, search, cold email); "creative partner" in brand lines.
- The signature never appears alone: pair it with the descriptor or the services.

## 3. Voice

Four pillars:
1. **Sharp & warm:** few words, straight to the point, said like a person you'd enjoy working with. If a founder wouldn't get it on the first read, rewrite it plainer.
2. **Shoulder to shoulder:** we're part of their team. Offer concrete work; never ask for a chance ("We'd love the opportunity" is off-brand).
3. **Straight to the fix:** name the situation in one sentence without drama, then spend the rest on the solution. Describe the situation, never the person.
4. **Sure of our lane:** confident about branding, design and SEO; honest about everything else, and point to someone better.

Reference sentences (calibrate every draft against these):
- "Keep building. We've got the details."
- "Send us what you have. We'll come back with a direction."
- "When someone searches for what you do, they should find you. That's the whole job of SEO."
- "Your product grew up fast. Let's get your brand there too."

Hard writing rules:
- No em dashes. Use a period, comma, colon or parentheses.
- No "It's not X, it's Y" constructions. Say the second thing directly.
- No exclamation marks.
- No three or more short fragments in a row.
- Never use "ship" or "shipping": it's software-founder jargon and Supercube serves all kinds of founders. Say move fast, launch, grow or build.
- Avoid: solutions, leverage, synergy, elevate, unlock, empower, seamless, cutting-edge, innovative, world-class, game-changer, passionate, revolutionary, 10x, guaranteed. No SEO jargon for clients (SERP, backlinks, domain authority).
- Every line must name or imply branding, design or being found. Delegation verbs (handle, take care of, we've got it) always need a brand, design or search object.
- Never invent clients, results, prices, timelines or testimonials. Use a placeholder like `[client result]` and ask.
- Deliverable copy is in English by default.

## 4. Logo

- **Lockup (primary):** the italic wordmark followed by the S symbol. The only horizontal lockup.
- **S symbol:** favicon, icon, corner sign-off.
- **Wordmark:** when the S already appears elsewhere.
- **Stacked logo:** a Cube on top of the wordmark; the square version.
- **Colors:** Chalk on Sky Blue, Angry Flamingo, Yellow Sea, gradients and photos; Smoky Black on Chalk. Never pure black.
- **Clearspace:** lockup and wordmark, half their height on every side; S, one S on every side; stacked, the height of its wordmark.
- **Minimum size:** 16 px tall (lockup, wordmark, S); stacked 64 px tall.
- **Never:** stretch, rotate, add effects, recolor, rebuild the lockup by hand, create new lockups, or retype "Supercube" in a font.

## 5. Color

| Name | Role | HEX |
|---|---|---|
| Chalk | Neutral, covers the most area (replaced Ivory `#FEFFEF` on 2026-10-07; never use Ivory) | `#FEFFFB` |
| Sky Blue | Primary, the next largest areas | `#39A7E4` |
| Angry Flamingo | Accent, small doses | `#EC4944` |
| Yellow Sea | Supporting | `#FFA705` |
| Smoky Black | Dark neutral, replaces pure black | `#0D0C08` |
| Cube Cream / Cube Olive | Only for the Cream Cube (fill / eyes) | `#F8F4D0` / `#9A9679` |

- Text on Sky Blue, Angry Flamingo and Yellow Sea is Chalk by default (a deliberate brand choice); Smoky Black is a valid, less common alternative. Text on Chalk is Smoky Black.
- Colors can sit on each other, especially a Cube on a colored background.
- UI scales from 50 to 900 exist for web UI only (brand color = 500).

## 6. Typography (all Google Fonts)

| Role | Font | Settings |
|---|---|---|
| Headline | Google Sans Flex | weight 500, slant -2 |
| Subheadline | Google Sans Flex | weight 400, slant 0 |
| Body | Lora | Regular 400 |
| Eyebrow / label | Cascadia Mono | SemiLight 350, sentence case (buttons may be all lowercase) |

- Sizes: subheadline = headline ÷ 2; body = headline ÷ 4; eyebrow = headline ÷ 5. Floors: body 16 px, eyebrow 12 px on screens.
- Line height: headlines 110 to 120%, subheadlines 120 to 130%, body 140 to 150%.
- **Hierarchy:** every piece has one entry point. A headline has 8 words at most; longer lines become subheadlines. The logo can take the headline's place, and then any text next to it is a subheadline. Quotes use the subheadline style. Only headlines are slanted. Cascadia Mono is only for labels, eyebrows, tags, numbers, HEX values, file names and keyword lists; never sentences.

## 7. Layout

- **Fixed formats** (posts, stories, posters, covers, decks, print): margin = longest side ÷ 24. Top and bottom margins can double to give text more air. Headline size = 10% of the content box width.
- **Panels** (color cards, split screens, card grids): each panel is its own layout (its own margin and headline size).
- **Logo:** height equals the margin; placed in the corner opposite the text, where there's the most negative space. Exception: with no headline, the S can sit centered over a photo or gradient.
- **Responsive web:** 8 px spacing scale. Grid: 12 columns desktop, 8 tablet (24 px gutters), 4 mobile (16 px gutters). Type tokens: headline 64/40 px (desktop/mobile), subheadline 32/20, body 16, eyebrow 12.
- Eyebrows sit directly above the headline (or subheadline) they introduce, same left edge.
- Photos run full bleed.

## 8. Photography (AI-generated, Midjourney)

- **Families:** people in the sky, people in nature, people in the city.
- **Always:** everyday actions (eating, reading, walking, running, having coffee), joy, painted texture with grain, warm or neutral light, diverse people, touches of the brand colors, especially a rainbow flare like a lens effect.
- **Never:** corporate stock looks, offices, cold or muted color. Technology and posed subjects are fine if the image stays warm and joyful.
- **Recipe:** attach the style references `sky-12.png`, `nature-01.png`, `sky-13.png` as image prompts; keep the prompt short; end with `--profile dqmf42r jb6tr26 j3oeinu --hd` (without `--hd` the results come out blurry).
Example: `people running around being happy in a green field --profile dqmf42r jb6tr26 j3oeinu --hd`

## 9. The Cubes

- Characters inspired by the original Supercube; they stand for the ideas and services we offer. No names.
- One silhouette, two round eyes, thick outline. No variations, no mouth, no extra features, never without the outline.
- Colors: Blue, Red, Yellow (Chalk eyes), Cream (Cream fill, Olive eyes). Black Cube exists only in background patterns.
- Uses: stacked, repeating background pattern, alone on a colored background, inside the stacked logo. All can be animated; eyes move only in animation.
- Pattern: Chalk background, Smoky Black outlines, gap = ¼ Cube width, brick offset rows, color order Blue, Red, Cream, Yellow, Black (shifted rows start two colors later), bleeding off the edges.

## 10. Gradients

- Blends of the core brand colors, used only as backgrounds. Never inside Cubes, text or the logo.
- Grain is optional.
- Made with Gradient Studio; presets are starting points.
